Aida Taye Bellistri MD completed her high school in Falls Church, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC. She received her bachelors in art and medical degree from the George Washington University’s combined BA/MD program. The program afforded her the opportunity to pursue her passion in global health and surgery in Ecuador, Sudan, Ethiopia, and India. She went on to complete a general surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Taye Bellistri specialized in endocrine and metabolic surgery in a one-year fellowship in the Mount Sinai Health Systems under the direction of William B Inabnet III and Dr. Randall Owen. She is delighted to continue serving the New York City population at Mount Sinai as an Assistant Professor of Surgery.View CV/Resume
